What is Camp Whitewater?

Camp Whitewater is a summer group camp for the young members of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). It is operated by an association of 25 WELS churches of the Winona, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin area. Camp Whitewater has been in existence and operation since the 1930’s.

Where is Camp Whitewater Held?

Camp Whitewater is held at the group camp located in the beautiful Whitewater State Park. The group camp is about a mile off state highway 74 that runs through the park.

What Do We Do at Camp?

At Camp Whitewater, the campers enjoy daily devotions, Bible study, singing, crafts, outdoor activities, fishing, swimming, evening entertainment, camp fire devotions and songs, plus many other fellowship activities.

What Are the Costs?

Camp fees are $130 per camper which cover all lodging, food, snacks, and crafts.  There is no need for extra money at camp. Everything is taken care of.

A $50 deposit is required at the time of registratrion.

Talk to your pastor about financial aid. No one will be denied a place at Camp Whitewater because of financial difficulties.
